In collaboration with design group, you will create inspiring creative concepts for projects, events, executive initiatives, and tours and implement, revise, and maintain the design of all guest residences for all SCAD locations.Īmong other duties, you will also adhere to all OSHA regulations and safe practices, ensure follow-through on building inspections and punch lists, and serve as a liaison between various departments and project contractors, vendors, artists and craftspeople. You will work closely and collaboratively with the design group, special projects, events, and exhibitions teams lead install and setup teams to include the supervision of tradespeople and contractors during implementation and create and assign work orders as needed. You will assist various departments with creative art direction and conceptualization with an emphasis on highlighting SCAD artists and ensuring the visual appearance of SCAD as a brand is cohesive and leading-edge across platforms and throughout each SCAD building, event, retail outlet, photo shoot, and other properties and projects worldwide.Īs part of your work, you will be a key contributor to SCAD’s interior design, photo and event styling, product sourcing, and inspired ideation which may include functional programming, space planning, specification of furniture, finishes, design and QC of custom fabrications, and curation of artwork, signage, and other specialties and unique objects, collections and curiosities. As a full-time senior interior designer and visual stylist, you will provide strategic direction supporting the unique SCAD visual identity while also maintaining the university brand and ensuring consistency across all platforms and at all university locations. ![]()
